Episode 4; Community over competition

Do you often feel a little lonely out there on your own? Whether you're a Solopreneur or have a niche/super important job title that makes it hard for others to relate, we get it! You need an ally.

So pop on your kettle, make yourself a brew and listen to Georgina Little Photography and I about why we prioritise community over competition, and how it can help YOU.

George and I often team up to photograph each other. It started out as we were ‘practicing what we preached’ in terms of ensuring we keep our Brand photographs up to date, but soon we realised just how much we got along, and perhaps how much we were craving a little company and understanding. I mean yes we love our family, friends etc. but running a small business, being a solopreneur or even just if you have niche job or you’re high in Management, it’s really hard for other people to relate to you when they don’t do what you do and you’re having a bad day, or you need a vent or a bit of friendly advice. Take it first hand from me, it’s heavenly having someone to relate to! Having a job role with responsibility is pressure.

Which is why I felt so passionate to ensure I got George on the Podcast, so we can share with you why community over competition is very important amongst not just small businesses, but amongst EVERYTHING IN LIFE! It’s okay to learn from other people, to not be perfect, it’s through relationships and connections that we actually grow.

So without further a due, I present to you Episode 4 of my Podcast ‘You take the lead’, the empowerment Podcast to inspire women to get out there and chase their dreams, no matter what their version of success looks like:
